| FAQQ: Are there separate clubs for East and West?
A: Yes. As of July, 2009, there are 2 separate MOMS Clubs of Mequon - one for members who live East of the Milwaukee River and one for members who live West of the Milwaukee River. Our successful growth in membership necessitated this chapter split. Q: Is there a fee to join MOMS Club® of Mequon - East & West? A: Annual dues for our chapter are $25/year. This fee is used to cover administrative costs (copies, envelopes, dues to the International MOMS Club, etc.) and are renewable every year. Q: Is there any way to check out your group before I join and pay my dues?
A: Absolutely. Prospective members may attend two Chapter Meetings before joining. However, one local, public event can be substituted for one Chapter Meeting. For liability reasons, non-members are only allowed at events that are in a public setting and not held in a members’ home. Q: Is the MOMS Club a religious or political organization? A: NO. The MOMS Club welcomes moms of all religious, ethnic, or political backgrounds and views. We are not affiliated with any religious organization. Q: Are playgroups for infants? A: Playgroups are for children of any age. It is beneficial for the kids to see other kids and for the moms to be able to support each other! Q: Do I have to cancel my membership when my kids enter school? A: Moms with children of any age are welcome. It is great to have the support of other moms whatever our children's ages are. |
